Job changes

So, the sad news is I’m being laid off (along with all of the other contractors at my company) on Christmas Eve.

On the plus side, that means I can actually do some more personal, introspective blogging, which I feel has dropped off significantly since starting my Patheos blog.

  1. I’m sorry about the layoff … and the timing is about as impersonal as I could imagine. I would welcome the notion of reading more personal and introspective posts from you – I can understand that blogging for something like Patheos would be a bit confining where this is concerned – but I find the notion hard to celebrate in light of the news about your being laid off. Do you have other prospects? Did this layoff come as a surprise; or had you already a little bit of warning to plan with?

I wish you luck in finding something new; and at the same time, I do look forward to reading more from you 🙂

  2. I think Stormwise has hit the nail on the head with their comments. Good luck with finding new employment, may this rather cold ending open up something even better for you.
